Key Responsibilities
Fire Safety Systems Management
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of fire detection and fire protection systems
- Conduct routine testing of fire safety and firefighting equipment
- Supervise fire safety stock and ensure readiness of emergency equipment
Emergency Preparedness & Fire Drills
- Plan and conduct fire evacuation drills regularly
- Ensure occupants, tenants, and staff are trained on emergency evacuation procedures
- Maintain preparedness for fire and rescue operations across the facility
Training & Awareness Programs
- Conduct fire safety and emergency response training for staff, security teams, and tenants
- Educate occupants on fire prevention and evacuation procedures
- Train nominated fire wardens and emergency response personnel
Monitoring & Safety Oversight
- Maintain awareness of fire safety personnel and ensure coordination during emergencies
- Ensure compliance with fire safety protocols and safe operational practices
- Support protection of personnel during emergency response situations
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain fire safety inspection reports and drill reports
- Document testing results, incidents, and compliance records
- Maintain updated records of fire safety equipment and activities
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to fire safety regulations and organizational safety standards
- Support audits and inspections by regulatory authorities
- Maintain continuous compliance with fire safety requirements
