Role Description:
- The Apprentice Asset Management Operations role is part of DWS Operations and supports key operational processes across the asset management lifecycle. This position is offered under an apprenticeship program and is intended to provide structured, handson training within a controlled and regulated environment.
- The role offers exposure to core asset management operations while developing an understanding of Deutsche Bank's / DWS governance, risk, and control framework.
Your key responsibilities:
- Comfortable to work in multiple shifts (US Shift).
- Support daytoday asset management operational activities including trade lifecycle support, reconciliations, data validation & Reporting
- Assist in ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of operational data across systems
- Perform routine operational checks in line with documented procedures and service standards
- Support preparation of standard operational and management information reports
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to assist with resolution of operational breaks and queries
- Maintain documentation and records in accordance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements
- Adhere to Deutsche Bank and DWS policies, procedures, and control standards at all times
Your skills and experience:
- Basic understanding of financial markets or asset management concepts
- Strong attention to detail and analytical approach
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and standard office applications
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to learn in a processdriven and controlfocused environment
