Description
We are urgently hiring for the position of Desktop Support in India. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are eager to start their career in IT support and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop and laptop hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of user accounts and permissions.
- Respond to support tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems.
- Collaborate with IT team members to improve support processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and common desktop applications.
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with antivirus software and system security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
