Job Description

We are looking for an Applied AI Developer with strong Python skills and a good understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with JSON/data handling, basic image processing (PIL/OpenCV), and AI workflows. Strong logical thinking and debugging skills are important to identify issues in prompts or code and improve AI performance.

What You'll Do:

Prompt Framing: Draft and refine complex prompts for multimodal LLMs (Gemini, GPT-4o) to ensure high-quality agent responses.
Event Validation: Audit agent outputs to ensure that events are triggered correctly based on real-time requirements.
Logic Optimization: Update system instructions and prompts as business needs evolve to improve accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
Codebase Auditing: Review Python scripts to identify logic errors or integration bugs affecting AI performance.
Visual Data Prep: Use Python to resize, crop, or filter images to optimize token usage and clarity for Vision LLMs.

What We Are Looking For:

Python: Ability to read, debug, and write functional scripts for AI workflows.
LLM Knowledge: Deep understanding of prompting techniques (system vs. user roles, few-shot prompting, reasoning).
Data Handling: Experience with JSON (for structured outputs) and basic image libraries like PIL or OpenCV.
Logic & Debugging: Strong analytical skills to trace why an agent failed (whether it was the prompt or the code).

How We Work:

We use Microsoft Teams for daily communication, including stand-ups and team meetings.
Our culture values open discussion, ownership, and a founder mindset.
We prioritize exceptional design, UI/UX, thorough documentation, detailed to-do lists, and data-driven decision-making.
Team bonding is fostered through bi-monthly town halls, destressing sessions with a certified healer, and biannual company retreats.
We offer a fully remote workplace, comprehensive health insurance, attractive equity options for top performers, mental health consultations, company-sponsored upskilling courses, designated growth hours, 40 hours annually for community causes, and access to a financial advisor.
Wobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
