Job Description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer (Full Stack) at the IC3-IC4 level to join a small, highly collaborative team within a dynamic international organization. You will build and enhance a new enterprise cloud application in the Financial Close and Tax Reporting space. This role includes opportunities for customer interaction, influencing product direction, and delivering new cloud capabilities at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end features across UI, services, and data layers for a modern enterprise cloud application.
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration points used by internal services and customer-facing workflows.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code participate in code reviews and design reviews.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX, QA, and other engineering teams to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues across the stack, including production support and root-cause analysis.
  • Contribute to engineering excellence through automation, CI/CD improvements, documentation, and best practices.
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to understand reporting and compliance workflows and incorporate feedback into product improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong software development experience building enterprise applications in a full stack capacity.
  • Proficiency in Java with solid understanding of object-oriented design, APIs, and modern engineering practices.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, debugging, testing).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, global team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs (e.g., API design, versioning, authentication/authorization, performance considerations).
  • Experience with Python and/or C++ (added advantage).
  • Exposure to AI/ML projects (e.g., integrating AI services, building intelligent features, prompt-driven workflows, or using ML libraries/tools), especially in enterprise contexts.
  • Experience developing and operating cloud services (observability, monitoring, logging, performance tuning).
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and building systems with strong reliability and compliance considerations.
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks and front-end engineering practices (e.g., component-based design, accessibility, performance).
  • Knowledge of Financial Close, Consolidation, Reporting, or Tax/Regulatory reporting domains is a plus.
