Department: App Review
These Specialists will support the Eccomerce apps in the App Store by ensuring high-quality standards for newly submitted apps. This role encompasses reviewing third-party applications and conducting complex app reviews. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, technical knowledge, and a passion for enhancing the partner experience throughout the app lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities/Scope:
- App Review and Assessment: Conduct detailed reviews of app submissions to ensure compliance with quality and security standards.
- Ensure proper turnaround time is followed for apps/tickets handled.
Key Technical Skill/s:
- Technical background related to e-Commerce (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Magento, etc.) or QA testing environment that involves ensuring products/services meet standards by creating/executing test plans, identifying defects, and/or documenting issues.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, though applicable experience is also accepted
- Experience: At least 1 year in a technology or operations role, preferably within app development, quality assurance, or e-Commerce support. KPO R&D experience is also acceptable.
- Detail Orientation: Attention to detail with the ability to catch errors and enforce quality standards.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and prioritization abilities to navigate multiple responsibilities and deadlines effectively.
- Communication Skills: At least B2 level
- Quick Learning: This environment is dynamic and constantly evolving, requiring continual upskilling.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate must have a technical foundation with a proper understanding of the app review process (or anything similar). They are detail-oriented and efficient, capable of managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards of quality. A background in e-Commerce and any QA testing background is a big advantage
