About the Role
We are seeking an Application Support Engineer Mainframe (.NET L2) with strong expertise in Mainframe technologies and hands-on Level 2 support experience in .NET applications. The role focuses on incident management, root cause analysis, and ensuring the stability and availability of production systems in a shift-based support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 production support for Mainframe and .NET-based applications.
- Manage incident and problem management, including analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex production issues.
- Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
- Monitor batch jobs and application health using scheduling and monitoring tools.
- Ensure application stability, availability, and timely resolution of production defects.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve recurring production issues.
- Participate in shift-based support, including weekends, as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Mainframe technologies including COBOL, DB2, and JCL.
- Hands-on Level 2 Application Support experience in .NET applications.
- Experience working with job scheduling tools.
- Proven experience in incident and problem management.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work in shift-based support, including weekends.

- Prior experience in the Healthcare Insurance domain.
