Job Description

ITSM- Application Support Engineer

Location: Goregaon, Mumbai

3 days to Office.

We have a requirement for ITSM professional with Payments experience for Mumbai location for immediate joiner position. The resource will work 3 days per week from Goregaon, Mumbai

office.

A dynamic professional with rich experience in application support projects, client relationship management, team management, and Windows application development. Expertise in RBI Application (implementation, management, and support), payment systems like QLM/QPH/SWIFT/IMPS/UPI/NEFT/RTGS (implementation, testing, management, and support), and web administration/development using various web-based technologies.

Responsibilities:

Collaborating with IT teams and vendors on a day-to-day basis for operational support.

Internal relationships extend to peers and up to 2 levels in the organization, mainly within IT in a technical capacity. External relationships with vendors focus on a technical level.

Promoting and managing regulatory compliance, anticipating and identifying legal and compliance risks, and embedding efficient compliance processes.

Specialized knowledge in one or more technical environments with senior responsibility for support and service delivery within their technical support function.

Supporting multiple site locations and business units, working directly with internal customers on-site or remotely.

Working on the closure of audit and security-related points.

Participating in requirement and architecture briefings to assess feasibility.

Providing technical and functional support to business in various project stages.

Working with vendors and various internal teams during project execution.

Executing IT initiatives for design, development, implementation, rollout, and support of banking systems.

Managing the implementation and configurations of new fixes and patches from vendors.

Managing and assigning teams based on project criticality.

Managing multiple tasks

Change Management / CAB for application changes

Ensuring the integrity of applications including Incident support, vulnerability remediation, application support

Managing automation for application or process

Making decisions on critical issues.

Technical Skill Sets:

  • Knowledge of India payment systems (RTGS/NEFT/UPI/IMPS/SWIFT).
  • Working knowledge of ISO 20022 and SFMS message structure.
  • Operating Systems: IBM AIX, UNIX, Linux, VCS (Veritas Cluster Server) for failover mechanism, Windows 7/10, Mac OS, MS-DOS.
  • Knowledge of DNS, FQDN, Networks terminology
  • Office Tools: MS Office 2022 Complete package, MS Visio, Edit Plus, Notepad++.
  • Understanding of API integration in digital platforms.
  • Middleware Knowledge: WAS/Apache
  • Knowledge of IBM MQ & Power BI.
