As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by diligently investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, identifying anomalies, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands collaboration with different teams to understand system behaviors and deliver timely solutions that maintain business continuity and enhance system reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Document findings and resolutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance efficiency.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Aveva OSIsoft PI.
• Experience with system monitoring and incident management tools related to Aveva OSIsoft PI.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve software and system issues effectively.
• Ability to interpret system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes.
• Familiarity with database management and querying to support data integrity and troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills to interact with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
