As an Application Support Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic and challenging environment where you will act as a software detective. Your typical day will involve identifying and resolving issues within various components of critical business systems, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate with team members to analyze problems, implement solutions, and enhance system performance, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for system support and maintenance.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members on troubleshooting techniques and system functionalities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition, Spring Boot, Linux.
- Strong understanding of application support methodologies and practices, Spring Framework, Unix, Linux, Solace/Kafka, PL/SQL, SQL, Multithreading.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving software issues in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with database management and query optimization.
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools and performance tuning.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
