Job Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your role will focus on troubleshooting and ensuring smooth operations of software applications. You will act as a key problem solver, enhancing system performance and providing support across various platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expert (SME): Expected to become an expert in the field and perform tasks independently.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team discussions and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve software-related issues to minimize system disruptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to address complex system challenges.
- Software Solutions: Develop and implement software solutions aimed at enhancing overall system performance.
- End-User Support: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring their queries are resolved.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and troubleshooting procedures for reference.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) to configure, deploy, and manage software applications across systems.
Microsoft Application Virtualization:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Application Virtualization is a plus, ensuring effective application management.
Software Troubleshooting:
- Strong ability to troubleshoot software-related issues, employing problem-solving techniques to resolve incidents efficiently.
PowerShell Scripting:
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell scripting for automating administrative tasks and resolving system issues.
System Configuration and Deployment:
- Experience in system configuration and deployment, ensuring seamless software setup and execution.
Log Analysis:
- Ability to analyze system logs and identify problems quickly to facilitate fast issue resolution.
Additional Information:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
- Location: This position is based in Jaipur.
