Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with different teams, analyzing system performance, and ensuring that all applications run smoothly to support business operations effectively. You will engage in problem-solving activities, utilizing your expertise to enhance system reliability and performance, while also documenting your findings and solutions for future reference. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity of business applications and ensuring seamless user experiences across the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for enhancement to optimize application efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in MySQL Database Administration. - Strong understanding of database design and optimization techniques. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies for MySQL databases. - Familiarity with performance tuning and troubleshooting of database systems. - Knowledge of security best practices for database management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in MySQL Database Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
