Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Must have skills : Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, thereby supporting the overall business objectives effectively and efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Lead efforts to improve system reliability and optimize support processes.
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of critical incidents.

Professional & Technical Skills

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex software and system issues.
  • Experience with monitoring and managing security events and alerts within enterprise environments.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions and improvements.
  • Familiarity with incident management and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to document findings and interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information

  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
  • This position is based at our Gurugram office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
