Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of essential services. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and promptly address any disruptions that may impact business continuity, contributing to a reliable and efficient technology environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and continuous improvement of support processes.
  • Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders to enhance knowledge sharing and operational transparency.
  • Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to IT operations and system support.
  • Experience in monitoring and managing IT infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ability to analyze system logs and alerts to identify root causes of incidents.
  • Familiarity with incident management and change management processes within IT service environments.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with technical teams and business users.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
  • This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
