As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous vigilance and collaboration with different teams to maintain system reliability and performance, while swiftly addressing any disruptions that may impact business processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability and efficiency.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus Operations Orchestration.
• Experience in automating workflows and integrating various IT systems using Micro Focus Operations Orchestration.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze logs and system alerts to diagnose issues.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools to support orchestration tasks.
• Ability to work with monitoring tools and incident management systems to track and resolve application issues.
