Roles & Responsibilities:
- JIRA Administration & Configuration
Configure and maintain JIRA projects, workflows, schemes, and permissions
Customize fields, screens, dashboards, and reports
Manage user roles, groups, and access controls
Ensure system performance, availability, and data integrity
- Workflow & Process Management
Design and implement workflows aligned with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) processes
Analyze business requirements and translate them into JIRA configurations
Optimize processes for better efficiency and tracking
Provide day-to-day support for JIRA users
Conduct training sessions and create user documentation
Troubleshoot issues and resolve system-related problems
- Integration & Plugins Management
Install, configure, and manage JIRA plugins/add-ons
Integrate JIRA with tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, or other systems
Evaluate new plugins and manage licensing
Create dashboards, filters, and reports for stakeholders
Generate insights on project progress and team performance
- System Maintenance & Upgrades
Monitor system performance and logs
Perform upgrades, backups, and migrations
Ensure security compliance and best practices
Professional & Technical Skills:
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of JIRA administration and configuration
Understanding of workflows, permission schemes, and screen schemes
Experience with JIRA plugins and integrations
Knowledge of JIRA REST APIs and automation
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Basic knowledge of SQL, scripting, or web technologies (optional)
