As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and resolving problems efficiently to ensure seamless system operations. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple system components, collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
• Continuously monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
• Experience in managing virtual environments, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines.
• Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, storage management, and network configuration within virtualized infrastructures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual machine performance, resource allocation, and system integration.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery processes in virtualized environments.
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting to streamline virtualization tasks and improve operational efficiency.
