Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiatic, highly motivated and innovative Biotechnologist / Cell Culture Scientists to
join our Life-Science team. In this position, you will be responsible as the SME in cell-culture for CytoDirect
business. This role will be a working level scientist role where you will have direct project ownership in
addition to experimental responsibilities. We are looking for a colleague who is a self-starter, responsive,
flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
In this role your responsibilities will be:
• To ensure competent and rapid technical and application support to colleagues in global MOs for
CytoDirect via email and online interactions.
• To develop novel applications (and related content like whitepapers, webinars, publications., etc.)
for CytoDirect and other life science products in MT portfolio.
• Responsible for pre- and post- sales technical and application support and knowledge sharing with
the MOs as subject matter expert with technical consultative approach (eDemos, virtual GTC, etc.)
• Training of sales force and development of remote training offerings (eTrainings, virtual and self
learning activities, etc.)
• Engage with the product development team of CytoDirect as subject matter expert on product
testing, application feedback, strengthening the specification, etc.
What You Need to Succeed Critical Competencies/ Minimum Requirements:
• Ph.D. or Postdoctoral experience in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with a comprehensive
understanding of laboratory techniques.
• Strong technical and scientific expertise in Cell Culture and Cell Biology.
• Additional expertise in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Proteomics, and Genomics
is advantageous.
• Proficient in various cell culture techniques combined with excellent analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with software tools such as Origin, GraphPad, Minitab, and Design of Experiments
(DOE) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exceptional scientific communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to conduct fundamental research independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Creative thinker with strong decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Competent in independently researching and troubleshooting, ensuring accuracy in collaboration
with subject matter experts.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to integrate well within diverse industry teams. Experience
working in a matrix organization is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work at 3rd party facility for certain experimental work as needed. Non-experimental
work related travel: occasional (< 10%).
