Application Packaging Engineer

Responsibilities :

Package and repackage desktop applications using MSI, MSIX, APP-V, and related technologies.

Create and customize installation packages, transforms (MSTs), and deployment scripts.

Deploy and manage applications through SCCM/MECM, Intune, and other endpoint management tools.

Perform application compatibility testing and validation across Windows environments.

Troubleshoot application installation, deployment, and packaging issues.

Develop PowerShell scripts to automate packaging and deployment tasks.

Coordinate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to gather packaging requirements.

Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and software governance standards.

Manage application upgrades, patches, and version control processes.

Maintain packaging documentation, deployment procedures, and knowledge base articles.
