About the Job: Software Engineering Manager at Google
- As a Software Engineering Manager at Google, you will lead a team responsible for researching, evaluating, customizing, and implementing vendor-supplied applications critical to optimizing Google's Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) business processes. You will contribute to product strategy, manage project goals, and provide technical leadership to your team. This role involves overseeing large-scale projects and managing third-party product integrations across multiple sites internationally.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or another technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience working with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 5 years of experience managing engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience utilizing knowledge of Google-wide technologies and methods.
- Understanding of corporate real estate business processes, workflows, and industry-standard software solutions.
- Ability to manage technical relationships with third-party vendors, including overseeing vendor selection, onboarding, performance evaluations, and overall management.
