Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Technical Support Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and strong knowledge of CAM software such as Autodesk Fusion, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor , Autodesk Power Mill Autodesk Power Shape and Autodesk Feature Cam , and ZW3D. This role involves both Pre-Sales and Post-Sales technical activities, supporting the sales team, delivering product demonstrations, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable CAD/CAM solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and Proof of Concept (PoC) sessions for clients.
Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical queries during the sales cycle.
Assist in solution design and preparation of technical documentation and proposal materials.
Engage with prospective clients to explain product capabilities and benefits tailored to their engineering workflows.
Post-Sales Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and guidance to customers after product implementation.
Handle software installation, activation, licensing, and configuration assistance.
Resolve usage issues, bugs, and performance concerns via remote sessions or on-site visits.
Deliver training sessions for end-users and design teams to ensure product adoption.
Maintain strong client relationships through regular technical check-ins and updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma in Tool and Die Making or Diploma in Precision Manufacturing or Diploma in Mechanical Engineer or Post Diploma in Tool design or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 1-2 years of experience in CAD / CAM technical support, application engineering, or pre-sales/post-sales roles.
Proficiency in CAD software: Autodesk Fusion ,Autodesk Inventor , Autodesk Power shape and Autodesk Power mill and Autodesk Feature Cam
Strong understanding of mechanical drafting, design principles, and CAM / CAD workflows.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to travel locally for client meetings, demos, and onsite
support when required.
