Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of machines at overseas customer locations
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to export customers
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Conduct machine trials, performance checks, and acceptance tests
• Train customer operators and maintenance staff during commissioning
• Prepare service reports, visit reports, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with design, production, and spares teams for issue resolution
• Support customers through email, video calls, and phone
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and export compliance standards
• Handle breakdowns, warranty claims, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Represent the company professionally during international service visits

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Automation
• Additional training in CNC / PLC / Industrial Automation will be an advantage

Experience

• 3 to 8 years of experience in service/commissioning of industrial machinery
• Hands-on experience in export or international service support preferred
• Experience in capital equipment, special purpose machines, or automation systems is desirable
