About this Position Executes Application Engineering activities within the region, supporting the SBU through on-site, customer-facing technical engagements. This includes supporting customer/market applications and engineering projects for both existing and new business within the defined territory. Accountable for all AE segment activities and Technical Center operations within the territory.
What Youll Do
- Drive the success of local SBU ACE projects by providing technical expertise, implementing customer roadmaps, and conducting plant audits/line surveys to strengthen the ACE Growth impact pipeline.
- Manage the launch of new products, customized applications, product demonstrations, and troubleshooting for customers.
- Support the Sales team in building strong value propositions.
- Work with application equipment for product validation, simulating line conditions to ensure first-time-right product launches.
- Provide inputs to Product Development regarding application and processing equipment, and collaborate on new product development and testing.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, PD, Product Management, Quality, and other departments to ensure successful application deployment and customer satisfaction. Facilitate effective communication and cross-functional alignment.
- Report quality issues and customer claims to relevant teams (including CCMS), support laboratory work for customer samples (including prioritization), and communicate technical results to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all Henkel and regulatory requirements (safety, legal, environmental) and relevant industry/customer specifications.
- Deliver technical training and coaching for field sales teams and customers on product applications.
- Promote SBU innovations internally and share best practices across accounts.
What makes you a good fit
- Minimum 5 years of work experience
- Should be a B.Tech / B.E. Chemical/Polymer/Paint Technologies
- Should have experience into Application Engineering, Technical Customer Service, Product Development & R&D
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and provide practical customer-centric solutions.
- Knowledge of documentation tools, CRM systems, and digital platforms for remote interaction.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal & written).
