Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support & Consultation:
• Serve as the primary technical expert, assisting customers with product selection, specifications, and compatibility.
• Guide sales teams and customers in understanding product attributes, specifications, and commercial differentiators.
• Answer technical queries, and assist in resolving product performance and quality issues.
• Customer & Sales Team Collaboration:
• Manage relationships with large OEM customers, ensuring clear communication and quality reporting.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to address customer needs and drive business growth.
• Provide pricing recommendations to product managers based on cost, market dynamics, competitive offers, and internal guidelines.
• Project & Product Documentation:
• Support the creation and sharing of product documentation (data sheets, specifications, drawings) with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in product road mapping discussions and share customer-driven product ideas with product managers.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing:
• Develop and deliver product training sessions for commercial team members and partners.
• Train internal teams on new product developments and provide ongoing support.
• Demand Generation & Marketing Support:
• Assist in the creation of white papers, marketing collateral, campaigns, and other lead-generation tools to support demand generation efforts.
• Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and other industry events as needed.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Manage application engineering projects according to established processes.
• Other duties as assigned or required by the business.
