Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled
General CAD Systems Analyst to support global engineering transformation projects, including migration from legacy CAD/PDM systems (Agile PLM, Solid Edge, SolidWorks/SWPDM, Inventor, Autodesk Vault) to
PTC Windchill and
Oracle PLM/PD Cloud. This role will work closely with the IT Manager and business stakeholders to capture CAD practices, translate them into scalable solutions, and participate in all phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in discovery and mapping of legacy systems for transition to Windchill and Oracle PLM.
- Configure CADPLM integrations, attribute rules, lifecycles, and BOM publishing.
- Participate in SIT and UAT: prepare test cases, execute testing, log defects, and validate data loads.
- Work with business users to understand CAD practices and convert them into standardized solutions.
- Support data readiness activities including cleansing, mapping, and validation.
- Conduct training sessions, create SOPs, and assist with user onboarding.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth integration and rollout.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 58 years of experience in CAD/PDM/PLM administration and transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks/SWPDM, Solid Edge, Inventor, Autodesk Vault, and Windchill/Oracle PLM.
- Strong understanding of CAD data structures, revisions, lifecycles, and BOM management.
- Experience in UAT, test planning, and user training.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Windchill configuration and PD Cloud attribute governance.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Shell) for automation.
- Experience in global rollouts and multi-business unit harmonization.
