Application Development Advisor – Full-Stack
Position Overview
We're seeking a versatile Full-stack Engineer to contribute to all aspects of our web-based Affordability Management Platform (AMP) tool. You'll work across the entire stack, from crafting intuitive user interfaces to designing robust back-end systems, playing a crucial role in helping provide our business users with the necessary tools and data in helping drive affordability.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using our cutting-edge tech stack
- Design and implement GraphQL APIs to perform CRUD operations
- Create responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
- Help write unit-test cases and automated tests to ensure optimal code coverage
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills:
- 11 to 13 years of development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular)
- Familiarity with back-end frameworks, particularly Apollo Server
- Knowledge of database systems and ORM technologies
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Hands on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with RDBMS systems, preferably PostgreSQL
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
