Job Description

Responsibilities:

Work in IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) to provide technical and industry expertise for public and private sector clients.
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle including design, code implementation, testing, and support.
Analyze, design, develop, and maintain Mainframe z/OS applications using PL/I, JCL, DB2, CICS, MQ, and CICS Web Services.
Participate in maintenance and on-call/on-duty support as per squad requirements.
Create documentation and procedures to support maintenance and operational activities.
Build and maintain relationships with squads and third parties regarding software development and support issues.
Identify opportunities for enhancements and refinements to standards and processes.
Interface with business and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and application code.
Take ownership of end-to-end application deliveries.
