Job Description

Application Consultants: Large pursuits

Noida/Gurgaon/Mumbai/Pune

The Application Consultant - Large/Strategic Pursuits is a customer-facing role where you will support sellers in in engaging engineering, operations, and procurement and up to influence them to value Rockwell Automation as a delivery partner. Identify customer needs, and architect solutions to maximize Rockwell products and services content. Support of this activity will involve the creation of presentations, demos, proofs-of-concept, etc. Need to effectively translate technical terms into everyday language, and properly manage expectations, both internally & externally.

Strong understanding of Third party vendors and solutions to optimize our offerings and plan competitive scenarios to increase RA winnability.

You will improve growth at large pursuits/Strategic business and be involved during the negotiation phase of a project. You will report to the Application Consulting Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

• RA offering identification and value proposition at Large pursuits.
• Understanding of competitive scenario and optimization of offering including 3rd Party scope
• Establishing relationship at key accounts and 3rd Party suppliers/Vendor.

. Perform sales calls and account presentations, management, and review. Understand the customer's buying behaviors to forecast monthly and quarterly order performance.

• Focus on winning and competitive scenarios.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or technology is required. 10+ years of engineering experience in a large industrial systems and solutions delivery business or company.

• The ability to travel 25-30% of the time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• EPC handling.
• Large project involvement in specifications compliance, Optimization, Tendering, Proposal preparation.
