Application Architect-SAP HANA Basis

Your role and responsibilities

As an Architect at IBM, you'll work with clients to co-create solutions to major real-world challenges by using best practice technologies, tools, techniques, and products to translate system requirements into the design and development of customized systems.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Design and configure solutions for S/4 HANA implementations and migrations by using an agile framework.
• Share technical inputs and best practices to the delivery team to conduct successful outcomes for our clients.
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and customize a plan to take their implementations to the next level

Required technical and professional expertise

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA migrations, SAP sizing, application design, and configuration. Strong expertise in both Greenfield and Brownfield migration projects.
• Experience with SAP Landscape Management (LaMa), SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), implementing RISE-related policies and procedures, including BASIS coordination.
• Expertise in disaster recovery (DR) setup for SAP environments.
• Certification from leading hyperscale platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Advanced experience in performance troubleshooting, RCA generation, and tools for SAP environments

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and cloud integration with strong track record in SAP S/4HANA upgrades and database management (SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
