Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Application Architect specializing in Java & Web Technologies, you will visualize the entire application as a cohesive system, understanding all interactions between system components, and define limitations and requirements for source code in Java and related frameworks. You will ensure alignment with business objectives by selecting, defining, and enforcing consistent technology standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design Technology Standards: Define and enforce consistent technology standards, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and select the most suitable technologies for the application.
- Develop System Architecture: Visualize the entire application as a cohesive system, understanding all interactions between system components, and define limitations and requirements for source code in Java and related frameworks.
- Implement DevOps Methodologies: Apply DevOps methodologies, Agile, and Test Driven Development to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure efficient development processes.
- Ensure System Integration: Ensure seamless integration with SOA, Web Services, Legacy Platform Integration, Application Servers like WebLogic/WebSphere, and Clustering Architectures.
- Lead Technology Alignment: Lead the alignment of technology standards with business objectives, ensuring that the application meets the required standards and is scalable for future growth.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Java and Web Technologies Expertise: Experience with Java, JEE, JDBC, Java design patterns, architectural patterns, Dependency Injection, Java Collections, threads, concurrency, Java servlets, JSPs, Struts, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, EJB, JPA, JAX-RS, and JAX-WS.
- Technology Standards Development: Experience in selecting, defining, and enforcing consistent technology standards, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- System Architecture Design: Experience with designing system architecture, visualizing the entire application as a cohesive system, and understanding interactions between system components.
- DevOps Methodologies Implementation: Experience with applying DevOps methodologies, Agile, and Test Driven Development to deliver high-quality solutions.
- System Integration Knowledge: Experience with SOA, Web Services, Legacy Platform Integration, Application Servers like WebLogic/WebSphere, and Clustering Architectures.

- Familiarity with Legacy Systems: Experience with Legacy Platform Integration, including knowledge of integrating legacy systems with modern web technologies and Java-based applications.

- Exposure to Multiple Application Servers: Experience working with multiple Application Servers, such as WebLogic and WebSphere, including knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses.
