About The Role
The Application Security Analyst at ADP plays a critical role in safeguarding the company's digital assets and client data. This position involves conducting rigorous security assessments across web, mobile, premise-based, mainframe, and Citrix-based applications and platforms. The analyst will identify vulnerabilities, assess associated risks, and contribute to strengthening the security posture of ADP's systems. This role requires a proactive individual with hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security documentation. The analyst will collaborate closely with development teams to communicate findings, suggest remediation strategies, and ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle. Additionally, mentoring junior team members and participating in ongoing security initiatives are vital components of this role.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in application security, demonstrating a strong technical foundation and practical expertise. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Candidates should have proven proficiency in penetration testing for web and mobile applications, including both iOS and Android platforms. Experience in evaluating and mitigating vulnerabilities, along with the ability to develop proof of concepts and exploits, is highly desirable. Programming skills in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby will be advantageous. Familiarity with cloud development platforms and frameworks like Angular, React, Java, or .NET is preferred. Knowledge of evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI testing will be considered a plus. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a keen interest in continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security testing on web, mobile, premise-based, mainframe, and Citrix applications to identify vulnerabilities.
- Assess the risk associated with identified vulnerabilities in accordance with ADP standards and document findings with detailed proof of concepts.
- Collaborate with development teams to communicate vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
- Assist in developing and implementing security best practices and standards across various platforms and applications.
- Mentor and train junior security team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, tools, and industry trends to proactively enhance security measures.
- Participate in security audits, compliance checks, and other related initiatives as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the security objectives of the organization.
