Role Overview We are seeking a creative and driven Apparel Designer with 04 years of experience to join our design firm. This role is ideal for a designer who has polished their skills within a reputed retail brand and is ready to contribute to a fast-paced, high-standard design environment. You will be responsible for translating trends into commercial successes, managing the design lifecycle from concept to execution, and collaborating across departments to bring seasonal collections to life.
Key Responsibilities- Design & Development: Execute end-to-end design processes including trend research, mood boards, color palettes, and sketching for seasonal collections.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and translate them into brand-appropriate designs.
- Technical Execution: Create detailed tech packs and design specifications to ensure accuracy in sampling and production.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production teams to ensure designs are viable, cost-effective, and delivered on schedule.
- Sample Management: Oversee the prototyping process, attending fit sessions and providing feedback to ensure the final product meets quality and aesthetic standards.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design deadlines simultaneously, ensuring all milestones are met within the seasonal calendar.
Candidate Profile- Experience: 04 years of experience specifically within a reputed retail brand or design house.
- Education: Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and MS Office. Strong hand-sketching and technical drawing skills are a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and the retail production cycle.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work collectively toward a unified brand vision.
