Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

1. API Development & Integration

  • Develop, configure, and maintain API integrations between enterprise systems, including SAP, Oracle, and BarTender 10.1.
  • Work with technical and business teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into functional API solutions.
  • Implement data transformations, mappings, and validations to ensure accurate and consistent data exchange across systems.
  • Support integration with third-party vendors such as Seagull Software.
  • Enable flat file integration for Honeywell applications to support automated workflows and data ingestion.

2. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

  • Diagnose and resolve API connectivity, authentication, and data flow issues, including those affecting BarTender 10.1 printing workflows.
  • Collaborate with IT, application owners, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve end-to-end integration problems.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize business impact.

3. Security & Vendor Integration

  • Configure secure API access using OAuth, SAML, API keys, or other protocols.
  • Ensure BarTender 10.1 integrations comply with enterprise security standards and data protection policies.
  • Coordinate with vendors, including Seagull Software, for secure API setup and ongoing support.

4. End-to-End Validation & Testing

  • Validate end-to-end connectivity and data flow between ERP systems, BarTender 10.1, and other integrated applications.
  • Conduct functional and integration testing to confirm APIs perform as expected under production conditions.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate with business stakeholders to confirm requirements are met.

5. Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain detailed documentation of API integrations, configurations, data mappings, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance reliability, performance, and maintainability of integrations.
  • Contribute to enterprise integration best practices and standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining APIs with SAP, Oracle, and BarTender 10.1.
  • Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and secure authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, API keys, JWT).
  • Experience troubleshooting API connectivity, authentication, and data flow issues.
  • Knowledge of vendor integration practices (e.g., Seagull Software).
  • Ability to validate end-to-end system connectivity and ensure reliable workflow automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with API management or integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure API Management, Apigee).

Familiarity with enterprise print solutions, workflow automation, and BarTender 10.1-specific integrations.
