We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In This Role, You Will
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTFUL APIs using Node.js and related frameworks (Express, NestJS, etc.,)
- Integrate APIs with backend systems, databases and third-party services.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture ensuring scalability and performance.
- Implement API authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, SSO, etc.,)
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Maintain source code control practice using Git and perform code reviews and unit testing.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test scripts and automation frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
- Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
- Ensure all activities performed within the team adhere to the relevant data standards and data controls.
- Ensure the level of automation within the team is optimised at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance.
- Work with the Product Owner, Solution & Platform Architects to identify changes required, create & agree necessary stories.
- Work with business stakeholders/users to elicit software setup requirements and capture business needs; clear articulation and documentation of business requirements.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript and/or Python scripting for automation, API development, integration, and data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Express.js, NESTJS or similar frameworks
- Experience with RESTful API design principles and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
- Working knowledge of databases both SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
