Role: API Automation Testing Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid

• Design, develop, and maintain API automation test scripts using Rest Assured

• Perform API testing for Microservices-based architectures

• Develop and execute automation frameworks using Java

• Collaborate with development teams to understand API requirements and validations

• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab / GitHub Actions)

• Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with cross-functional teams

• Perform regression, functional, and integration testing

• Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the SDLC

• Work independently and take ownership of testing activities

• 9+ years of overall experience in Software Testing

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in API Automation using Rest Assured

• Strong experience in Microservices API testing

• Java programming (mandatory)

• Selenium for UI automation (working knowledge)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Self-managing and proactive (self-starter)
