API automation testing

• 5+ years of total experience with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of writing SQL and PL/SQL scripts (good to have)
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools like Bamboo or Jenkins (good to have)
• Proven experience in understanding automation frameworks and building framework components
• Hands-on experience with defect and test management tools, preferably JIRA and XRAY
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Self-driven and comfortable working in a distributed team model
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to proactively manage timelines and dependencies related to automation deliverables

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of API testing experience
• 3+ years of test automation using Selenium, preferably with BDD (Cucumber)
• 2+ years of API automation using Rest Assured
• Experience on Appian Platform (highly desirable)
• Experience with API tools like Postman, SoapUI, Swagger UI, Splunk

Desired/Secondary Skills:

• Good knowledge of Agile methodology
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Retail banking domain knowledge
• Functional testing experience (web and API)
