Apex Developer

Job Description :

• Develop and maintain Apex platform services supporting Repo and SBL trading businesses.
• Deliver end-to-end STP flows by collaborating with cross-functional technology and business teams.
• Provide L1 and L2 production support for trading platforms (Repo, SBL, TRY), including trader query resolution.
• Analyze business requirements and design robust technical solutions aligned with BAU and project initiatives.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve Apex-related incidents, ensuring platform stability and performance.
• Develop high-quality, production-ready C++ code using the Apex Toolkit API, following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards to maintain system integrity.
• Produce and maintain technical design documentation (TDDs, TDOs) for new and enhanced functionality.
• Support regulatory initiatives such as SFTR and MiFID II, ensuring compliance with trading regulations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and Apex project teams for production deployments and releases.

• Experience supporting Fixed Income trading desks within an investment banking environment.
• Hands-on expertise with trading platforms, particularly Apex, including production support and enhancements.
• Strong proficiency in C++, with experience developing and maintaining high-performance trading systems.
• Practical experience using the Apex Toolkit API for platform integrations and service development.
• Familiarity with Apex Loanet Interface (ALI) and Google Unit Testing frameworks (preferred).
• Solid understanding of derivatives, repo, and securities lending (SBL) products and lifecycle.
• In-depth knowledge of trade flow, pricing models, and trade booking processes.
• Proficiency with FIX protocol and messaging standards used in electronic trading.
• Experience working in Linux environments, with awareness of network and infrastructure concepts.
• Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and communicate effectively.
