About The Opportunity

A clinical role in the private healthcare sector delivering inpatient, emergency and acute-care services across multi-specialty hospital settings in India. The position focuses on ensuring high-quality patient triage, stabilisation and routine ward management while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols and hospital standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-anaesthetic evaluation and risk assessment of patients prior to surgical procedures.
  • Plan and administer appropriate anaesthesia techniques (general, regional, or sedation) under consultant supervision.
  • Monitor patients intra-operatively, ensuring haemodynamic stability and patient safety throughout procedures.
  • Manage post-operative recovery, including pain management and monitoring in PACU/ICU settings.
  • Assist in airway management, vascular access, and other critical procedures as required.
  • Respond to emergency situations and Code Blue events, participating in resuscitation as per ACLS/BLS protocols.
  • Maintain accurate anaesthesia records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nursing staff, and critical care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Adhere to infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and NABH guidelines.

Must-Have (Qualifications)

  • MBBS with MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology (preferred) or DA (Diploma in Anaesthesia) from a recognized institution.
  • Valid registration with the Karnataka Medical Council (KMC) / National Medical Commission (NMC).
  • Prior clinical experience in operation theatre, ICU, or hospital inpatient settings is preferred.
  • Willingness to work on-site in rotational shifts, including night duties and emergency on-call rosters.
