Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and skilled
Android Developer to join our growing mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that deliver a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and implement application features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and continuously improve application performance.
- Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in Android development.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality standards.
- Manage the complete app development lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 45 years of proven experience in Android app development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and UI/UX design principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Retrofit, Room Database, and MVVM/MVP architecture.
- Knowledge of Firebase, Google Play Services, and Push Notifications.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Compose UI, Coroutines, or Flow.
- Exposure to Unit Testing and UI Testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).
- Knowledge of material design guidelines and responsive layouts.
- Understanding of app security, performance optimization, and memory management.
