Job Summary: WilliamsSonoma, Inc. is seeking an experienced Android Engineer to enhance, maintain, and scale our mobile shopping applications. The ideal candidate is a selfdriven developer who delivers highquality features, adheres to engineering best practices, and writes clean, maintainable Kotlin code.

Mode of Work: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android shopping applications using Kotlin
  
• Own features endtoendfrom technical design to development, testing, and deployment
  
• Deliver scalable, maintainable code aligned with WSI engineering standards
  
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and backend teams to implement business requirements
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural improvements
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production incidents
  
• Continuously optimize app performance, stability, and user experience
  
  

Required SkillsandQualification:

• Strong handson experience in Android development using Kotlin
  
• Solid understanding of the Android SDK, application lifecycle, and UI frameworks
  
• Experience enhancing and maintaining largescale consumer or retail applications
  
• Familiarity with MVVM and Clean Architecture
  
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs
  
• Strong grasp of coding standards, performance optimization, and memory management
  
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows
  
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of feature delivery
  
  

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation)
  
• Exposure to Jetpack Compose
  
• Familiarity with analytics, logging, and featureflag tools
  
• Background in ecommerce or omnichannel retail
