Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
Architect robust, secure, and scalable mobile applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews.
Stay up to date with the latest mobile technology trends, tools, and best practices.
Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and QA to deliver seamless mobile experiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8-12 years of proven experience in Android application development.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
Deep understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
Experience with Jetpack components (e.g., LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation).
Familiarity with MVVM / MVP / Clean Architecture.
Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and 3rd-party libraries integration.
Strong knowledge of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with Android Studio, Git, Gradle, and continuous integration.
Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
Published one or more Android apps in the Google Play Store is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
