About The Role
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Android Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that align with our company's standards and client expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers, to deliver seamless and engaging mobile experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile development, a strong technical foundation, and a desire to innovate and improve our Android applications continually.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a portfolio of shipped applications.
- Proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) and/or Java.
- Solid understanding of the Android SDK, different Android versions, and handling various screen sizes and resolutions.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs to connect Android apps with backend services.
- Familiarity with modern Android architectural patterns such as MVVM and MVI, and libraries like Jetpack Compose, Room, Retrofit, and Coroutines.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define, design, and implement new features and functionalities.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance bottlenecks, implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Continuously explore, evaluate, and adopt new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and app quality.
- Ensure compatibility across different Android devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and advancements in Android development.
- Contribute to the overall technical strategy and architecture of our mobile applications.
