Role Overview:
The ideal candidate should have experience in application design & development of GIS based mobile applications using ArcGIS SDK Android (Kotlin). The candidate should have a proven track record in drafting key project documents like FRS, SRS, architecture design, UAT, and deployment plans.
Job roles and responsibilities:
- Ability to gather requirements, interpret user needs, and design solutions that meet real-world scenarios.
- Strong debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning skills for mobile apps.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Strong communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and deliver within timelines.
- Proactive, self-driven, and eager to learn emerging tools and technologies.
Android Skills
- Strong knowledge of Android (Kotlin) development with experience in Android architectural patterns (MVVM/MVP).
- Excellent understanding of Android's Core Location Framework, GPS handling, offline capabilities, resource management, and background services.
- Hands-on experience with Esri's ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android (highly preferred).
- Experience working with maps, navigation workflows, satellite view, and basic 3D concepts.
Flutter Skills
- Solid experience building cross-platform apps using Flutter & Dart.
- Understanding of Flutter architecture patterns (Provider, BLoC, Riverpod, etc.).
- Experience with platform-specific integrations using platform channels (Android/iOS).
- Knowledge of responsive UI design and custom widget development.
Qualifications:
- B.E./BTech/ MCA/ MSc (Computer Science/GIS Remote Sensing)
