Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Android Automotive Application Framework Engineer to design, develop, and integrate AAOS framework components for next-generation connected vehicle platforms. The role involves working across the Android Framework, system services, application layer, and HAL on Android 12 to 14 within an ASPICE-compliant development environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and integrate Android Automotive Application Framework components and system services
* Build and maintain OEM and second-party automotive applications
* Work across Android Framework, Application Layer, and HAL integration
* Perform requirements analysis, system design, and feature decomposition
* Follow ASPICE-aligned software development lifecycle practices
* Write clean and optimized Java and C++ code
* Collaborate with global Agile teams and support technical mentoring
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in AAOS or AOSP on Android 12, 13, or 14
* Strong knowledge of Android system services, Binder IPC, and AIDL or HIDL
* Hands-on experience in Android Automotive infotainment platforms
* Proficiency in Java and C++ with strong design fundamentals
* Understanding of CAN, Ethernet, or in-vehicle communication systems
* Exposure to ASPICE processes and standard development tools such as Git and Jira
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
* Good communication and teamwork skills

* Experience working within the Android framework layer
* Contribution to ASPICE Level 2 automotive projects
* Exposure to performance or usability optimization in complex systems
