Anaplan Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead end-to-end design of Anaplan-based planning applications (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Workforce Planning)
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and models
• Develop and enhance modules, lists, actions, integrations, and UX dashboards following PLANS best practices
• Build reusable components, templates, and standardized architectural frameworks

Production Support & Operations

• Own production operations ensuring uptime, accuracy, and system stability
• Monitor refreshes, integrations, automated jobs, and scheduled processes
• Troubleshoot calculation errors, performance bottlenecks, data load issues, and access problems
• Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation

Model Optimization & Governance

• Review and optimize model architecture, formula logic, and sparsity
• Conduct model audits, size analysis, and cleanup initiatives
• Improve calculation performance and user experience
• Enforce governance standards, change control, and user access compliance

Integration & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Manage integrations between Anaplan and external systems
• Ensure data validation, mapping accuracy, and quality controls
• Act as technical advisor to planning teams and leadership
• Prioritize enhancement backlog and manage continuous improvement cycles
