Job Responsibilities
The SOC Analyst monitors, detects, and responds to cybersecurity incidents to protect the organization's digital assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and tools for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze, correlate and triage security events to determine their severity and impact.
- Perform basic Malware Analysis and threat hunting.
- Conduct incident response activities, including investigation and remediation.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement security controls.
- Maintain and update security documentation and incident reports.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and provide remediation guidance.
- Stay current with emerging threats and security trends.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 2+ years in Cybersecurity, ideally in a SOC Analyst or similar role.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Cloud environments, OSs, Identity and Access management,
- Entra ID/AD, network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems.
- Proficiency in using SIEM platforms and EDR Solutions
- Skills in forensic analysis and threat hunting.
- Ability to perform and manage vulnerability assessments.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Working Conditions
- On-call availability and working outside regular hours may be required.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
