Job Purpose

To design and deliver solutions for all manufacturing and planning processes for the entire textile business in a SAP Landscape. To assess best practices available/ that can be adopted in SAP solution landscape by benchmarking with the best in comparable industries. To enhance, redevelop, and re-implement existing solutions to meet business needs and to work closely with SAP Center of excellence/industry solution teams to ensure all functionalities available in SAP are fully utilized and constantly refined.

. To drive standard processes across units, manage change. To build adequate controls and audit mechanisms into financial systems to restrict leakages and drive compliance.
. To enable timely closure of financials and accurate financial MIS reporting working closely with the IT Heads/ personnel in each business.
. To ensure high system availability and to manage outsourced resources effectively.
. To provide competitive advantage through optimization of implemented processes, functionality enhancements in specialized areas and building a platform for Financial Analytics.

KRA1Plan and Schedule for each SBU. Develop a program to meet the customer delivery date based on planning and scheduling in each SBU
. Ensure machine wise planning can be carried out through this module
. Calculate production dates by considering the machine constraints and capacity
KRA2Uniformity of Processes Across Businesses. Identify the processes that are common across businesses and the business specific requirements
. Design the process so that they are uniform and yet do not compromise on the business specific requirements
KRA3Process Enhancement. Establish the business requirements for current and future with a view to realizing business benefits.
. Identify the functionalities/support applications or customizations that would help meet the requirements
. Identify the areas of present processes that falls short on its expectations or has scope for further improvements
. Design and implement solutions for such processes identified (example Costing/ MIS needs).
KRA4Business Application Implementation. Prepare a migration plan where required and setting up of responsibilities from BU/IT Functions for each task
. Drive and support change management through user training
KRA5People Management. Develop personal competencies and knowledge among vendor resources to deliver the required systems development and support needs.
. Train identified finance personnel from business function to monitor, track and realize the benefits of the rolled out processes
. Create strong working relationships with key IT and Business IT personnel
. Manage IT Vendor resources and their deliverables and also manage the attrition by creating a conducive and challenging environment
