Role Purpose
To support the Product Specification system by ensuring accurate creation, maintenance, and governance of product master data. The role enables cross-functional alignment, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration with upstream/ downstream system.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with R&D, QFS, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to validate data for updates, and maintenance of product specifications within the Spec PDM system.
- Perform data quality checks and validation before release from upstream systems to downstream systems.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and issue resolution during system enhancements or upgrades.
- Support change management processes, including controlled updates and revision tracking.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within product data processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Food Technology, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in data management, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or related environment (freshers with strong analytical capability may apply).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data validation).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of documentation discipline.
- Good communication skills with ability to coordinate across cross-functional.
- Exposure to PDM, SAP or other master data systems.
- Basic understanding of product lifecycle management and manufacturing processes.
