Job Description
The primary purpose of this role is to be an HR Systems resource between Human Resources, IT, and other areas within our business. This includes translating business requirements and functional specifications into configuration within the applicable HR Systems product supported. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of HR technology platforms to ensure successful deployment and to identify process improvement opportunities in the organization.
- Develops, configures, modifies, and tests HR system solutions in the designated HR product
- Participates in the end-to-end product lifecycle by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls
- Supports unit/component testing (CIT), system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), provides insight into defining test plans, and ensures quality software deployment
- Automates and simplifies HR system processes; develops solutions consisting of one or more viewpoints (business, application, data, and infrastructure) required for HR solution delivery
- Supports Senior Analyst and/or Consultant on special projects related to the testing, documentation, piloting, deployment, and communication of new functionality and system enhancements
- Monitors compliance with HR systems and programs as prescribed by Lowe's business needs and internal partners
- Creates, develops and delivers training to users via HCMS system, online technical documentation, and job aids
- Drives the adoption of the HR product supported by researching innovative technical trends and developments
- Observes system performance and make changes and recommendations to ensure optimal performance
- Researches, designs and schedules standardized reports, or creates ad hoc reports or data queries utilizing appropriate tools and systems
