Role Description

This exciting role offers the candidate the opportunity to work with the leading global player for impact economics. You will have the opportunity to steer the future of Human and Social Capital research, product development, sales and client delivery. You will be joining a team of 120+ specialists in the impact domain, including Human and Social Capital research teams with hands-on industry experience providing solutions to major global brands (e.g., major tech companies).

Key Responsibilities

  • Research (30%)
  • Support Human and Social Capital research, including:
  • Continual enhancement to existing impact evaluation models
  • Research new impact methodologies
  • Support wider research team members by inputting Human and Social Capital expertise into their work
  • Product (30%)
  • Supporting the development of existing Human and Social Capital related products, notably:
  • Data-as-a-Service: Human Capital, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Employee Health and Safety (EHS), United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)
  • Data-as-a-Service: Global Social Programmes database
  • SaaS: Enterprise impact platforms (i360x and SME360x)
  • SaaS: Social impact platform
  • Support provided includes:
  • Ideation of product enhancements and new features
  • Client engagement to test ideas
  • Research to explore and build underlying models that support products
  • Client engagement for live products to support, service and gather crucial insights
  • Sales (30%)
  • Design GTM sales strategy and success metrics
  • Continuously manage client opportunity prioritisation
  • Develop and iterate sales materials for each prospective client, and for general client engagement
  • Drive end-to-end prospective client engagement, including:
  • Responding to inbound leads
  • Reaching out proactively to potential prospects
  • Presenting GIST Impact products and services
  • Managing and scheduling all prospective client interactions
  • Handing over new clients effectively to delivery and product teams
  • Corporate and wider GIST Impact team collaboration (10%)
  • Engage across teams to build Human and Social Capital expertise (e.g., knowledge transfers, lunch-and-learns, ad hoc support)
  • Identify and support innovation activities across teams

Requirements

  • 0-2 years in social / CSR domain, or management consulting equivalent
  • Proven knowledge of major sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, CSRD)
  • Experience with field surveys relating to social impact and CSR programs
  • A Bachelor/Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Sustainability Management,
  • Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences or any other related discipline
  • Certifications in GRI Reporting, TCFD Reporting and/or CSRD Training are a plus
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Work
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as MATLAB, R, Python, etc., desirable
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
